Metallica fans threaten Lou Reed

Lou Reed has revealed that Metallica fans are threatening to kill him because of the joint album Lulu he has recorded with American rockers. According to his words, the band's fans do not like their collaboration – and even the success of the record is not taken into account.

"Metallica's fans are threatening to shoot me, and that's only because I showed up. They haven't even heard the record yet, and they're recommending various forms of torture and death", claimed Lou Reed.

Earlier Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett said that Lulu is one of the best albums they have ever released. According to his words, it proves that Metallica still can be "truly spontaneous" and "extremely creative".

"I think it's one of the best things we've ever done. It showed me that we could still be truly spontaneous and in the moment. We haven't been spontaneous like that for years and years and years, probably since the '80s", claimed Kirk Hammett.
