Metallica are going to film first music video on Lulu single
Nov 11, 2011Metallica unveiled that this month they will shoot music video on the first single from Lulu album that they have recorded in collaboration with Lou Reed. It will be created by famous American film director Darren Aronofsky, who is known for the movies Black Swan and The Wrestler.
Based on the song Iced Honey, music video is set to be unveiled in the end of November.
Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich claimed that working with Aronofsky is like "dream that has come true".
Earlier Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett said that Lulu is one of the best albums they have ever released. According to his words, it proves that Metallica still can be "truly spontaneous" and "extremely creative".
"I think it's one of the best things we've ever done. It showed me that we could still be truly spontaneous and in the moment. We haven't been spontaneous like that for years and years and years, probably since the '80s", claimed Kirk Hammett.
