Madonna revealed that she would start recording of her new album in the nearest future. Apart from her previous record Hard Candy, which was hardly influenced by hip-hop, Madonna’s next studio effort will borrow from rap and rock music.

Madonna claimed that upcoming album would be a result of collaboration with two producers. The first one is Alain Macklovitch, also known as A-Trak, who previously worked with Lupe Fiasco, MSTRKRFT, Armand Van Helden and Kanye West.

Another Madonna’s collaborator is Brendan O'Brien, producer of albums by AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen.

According to Madonna, her new record will be «halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to».

Singer’s previous record hit the stores in April 2008 and was produced by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West.
