Madonna confirmed she has been working on the new album

Madonna's manager Guy Oseary confirmed that singer has started the work on her next studio effort. According to Oseary, her first day in studio has been July 4 – Independence Day, national holiday in United States.

"It's official, Madonna's first day in the recording studio for the new album, very exciting" claimed Oseary.

Oseary added that the album would be recorded in collaboration with famous DJs A-Trak and David Guetta, as well as with producer Jim Steinman, who is famous for his work with Bonnie Tyler and Celine Dion.

Rumors say that Madonna's brother-in-law Joe Henry is also set to take part in the work on the record. Earlier Henry has written such songs as Don't Tell Me and Jump.

Madonna released her last to date album Hard Candy in 2008.
