Madonna and Coldplay will help to raise money for Haiti

Madonna, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen were named among the artists who will take part in Hope For Haiti concerts. Gigs are set to take place this night, on January 22 - all at the same time, but in different locations.

Coldplay will play in London along with U2, Jay-Z and Rihanna. Madonna is set to perform in New York, accompanied by Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Sting. Los Angeles concert was announced to feature Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift.

Organized by actor George Clooney, Hope For Haiti aims to raise money for people who suffered from recent Haiti earthquake.

Earlier it was announced that U2, Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz have recorded a song to benefit the Haiti people. It was also said that another special single may be recorded, featuring such artists as Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Wyclef Jean, Robbie Williams and Leona Lewis.
