Madonna "admires" MIA and Nicki Minaj

Madonna spoke about her recent collaboration with MIA and Nicki Minaj, who are featured on her upcoming single Gimme Some Luvinn. Singer claimed that she decided to ask for their help because she admires both of them – as musicians and at the same time as personalities.

"I'm a fan of their music but also I like their independence, their spirit. They're cheeky and unique and they have individual voices. They're not conventional pop stars and I really admire them both. I love both of them actually", claimed she.

Recently MIA revealed that she and Nicki Minaj are set to join Madonna during her upcoming performance at the half time of 2012 Super Bowl (the vent takes place this Sunday, on February 5).

"Yes, I'm going to the Super Bowl… I'm gonna be performing with Madonna and Nicki Minaj... If you're gonna go to the Super Bowl, you might as well go with America's biggest female icons", claimed MIA.

Gimme Some Luvinn is the first single from Madonna's next studio effort MDNA.
