Linkin Park singer Mike Shinoda revealed details about the band's upcoming fifth studio effort. Titled Living Things, it is set to hit the stores in June. The record was produced by Rick Rubin, who is famous for the work with Black Sabbath, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith and many others.

According to Mike Shinoda, Living Things will feature sound similar to Linkin Park early records. "The record gets back to our roots and it's captured a feeling that we haven't gone after in many years", claimed he.

Linkin Park already released first single from Living Things, entitled Burn It Down.

The band's previous album A Thousand Suns hit the stores in 2010.
