Lily Allen may star in Doctor Who

Singer Lily Allen may play Doctor Who's assistant in the eponymous British TV show. According to the English press, Lily herself said that she would like to follow Kylie Minogue, who acted in one of Doctor Who's specials in 2007.

«We would never cast anyone on the basis of their celebrity, but if Lily wanted to audition we would be delighted. It would be a lot of fun», said show’s executive producers Piers Wenger.

Lily Allen is going to release new album It's Not Me, It's You in February 2009.
