Lil Wayne was happy that Tha Carter IV leaked online

Lil Wayne claimed that he was glad when his new album Tha Carter IV has leaked online. The record, which hit the stores in the end of August, appeared on illegal file-sharing services several days prior to the official release (later it was deleted due to the request of the rapper's record label).

Lil Wayne himself claimed that he was happy both with the steal of the album and the amount of downloads – because it showed the desire of his fans to get the album.

"We did real good this time, real good. It just means people want to hear it. I mean, 'cause there's people's albums that come out that can be leaked and don't leak, so I'm glad mine's leaked", said he.

Lil Wayne recently revealed that during last month he has been receiving messages from Justin Biber, who wanted to collaborate with him. However, rapper denied possible duo – according to his words, they "won't do well together".

"He texts me every night asking me to do his damn song. That's up to me, but I can't do it. Like I said, I don't want to work his song up", said Lil Wayne.
