Lil Wayne to release next studio effort in April

Lil Wayne is set to release his next studio album The Carter IV in April, according to the reports by Rolling Stone magazine. It was also stated that all songs for it – except four tracks – have been recorded after the rapper has been released from prison in November 2010.

Magazine also stated that The Carter IV would feature collaborations with T-Pain and Kanye West.

Lil Wayne already released two albums last year, named Rebirth and I Am Not A Human Being.

Lil Wayne was put in prison last March for illegal gun possession. Rapper was caught in July 2007, when police found a .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded handgun in his car. Lil Wayne claimed he was not guilty, but during the hearing in October, he confessed that this gun belonged to him.
