Lil' Wayne settled his difficulties with The Rolling Stones
Feb 02, 2009Lil’ Wayne has settled a copyright infringement lawsuit with publishing company Abcko. Abcko sued US rapper because of alleged similarities in his new song Playing With Fire and The Rolling Stones’ song Play With Fire, recorded in 1965.
Abcko pointed that both songs’ choruses sounded similar. Company also said that public might assume that The Rolling Stones had approved «the explicit language» used by Lil’ Wayne in this song.
Now, rapper announced that he removed Playing With Fire from his new album Tha Carter III, replacing it with the song Pussy Monster.
