Lil' Wayne movie to be premiered next week

The new documentary movie about US rapper Lil' Wayne is set to be premiered next week. Titled The Carter, it shows both Wayne’s onstage life and his day-to-day activities. It also concentrates on problems with drugs Lil' Wayne had in the past.

Earlier this year Lil' Wayne filled a lawsuit asking to forbid the release of the film. Rapper said that producers have broken a contract with him and did not give him an opportunity to edit the final version of the film. However, his request has not been fulfilled.

Lil' Wayne has recently announced that his highly anticipated album Tha Carter IV will hit the stores in December. It was also said that another long-awaited album by Lil' Wayne – The Rebirth – would be released until 2010.

Rapper’s previous album Tha Carter III was released in June 2008 and was sold over one million copies in a week in the US.
