Liam Gallagher will star in a film

Oasis’ frontman Liam Gallagher will act in an upcoming movie Powder based on Kevin Sampson's book of the same name. It tells the story about the band that succumbs to a life of sex and drugs after achieving the success.

The movie will feature another famous singer – dance music star Guru Josh, who is known for his 1990 hit track Infinity. It was Josh who announced Liam Gallagher’s appearance. «Guru Josh will act as himself alongside co-star Liam Gallagher. Is the world ready for Liam Gallagher and Guru Josh together on the silver screen? Is Liam Gallagher ready for Guru Josh?» he wrote in his blog.

Liam Gallagher is currently busy with his Pretty Green clothing label. Earlier he announced that he will expand it into producing furniture. According to Liam’s words, he has already designed one sofa and hopes to create a full range of different items.

Oasis’ last record Dig Out Your Soul hit the stores last autumn.
