Liam Gallagher is not going to disband Oasis

Oasis’ frontman Liam Gallagher does not want the band to split up. According to the British press, he is currently looking for a new guitarist to replace his brother Noel, who has quit the band two weeks ago.

A source told The News Of The World newspaper: «Liam has decided that just because the guitarist has quit, it doesn't mean the band should collapse. He's been on holiday with bassist Andy Bell and both of them reckon they can keep going and create good music - even without Noel».

However, according to reports, Liam’s bandmates are not sure if they want to stay in Oasis. The source told Daily Mirror newspaper: «Some have already started to look for pastures new – as they have no idea how the new format of Oasis would work. Now that Noel has gone, no one else knows how they’ll put up with Liam’s big mouth. They saw how Liam treated Noel and don’t know what will happen if he does the same to them».

Oasis’ last record Dig Out Your Soul hit the stores in October 2008.
