Leona Lewis to cover Nine Inch Nails

Leona Lewis announced plans to record a cover on the song Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. Her own version of the track will be released later this month along with remakes of another two songs – Iris by Goo Goo Dolls and Colorblind by Counting Crows.

Hurt was included on Nine Inch Nails' 1994 album The Downward Spiral. It was covered by several artists earlier, including Johnny Cash, whose music video on this song was named Video Of The Year at the Grammy Awards ceremony in 2002.

Leona Lewis is currently working on her next studio effort Glassheart. Her last to date studio effort Echo hit the stores in 2009.
