Legendary London studio may close

Dec 12, 2008
London recording studio Olympic Studios may be closed. Studio has seen The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix through its doors. Currently, U2 are working on their new album there.

Record label EMI, Olympic Studios’ owner, said that it is not making enough money from studio: «The fact is the studio is not profitable, like many British studios. You can't get as much business as you used to in the past. And there's no sign of that situation improving».
