Lady GaGa's songs banned in China

Aug 08, 2011
Six songs by Lady GaGa were included in the list of the tracks banned by China's Ministry of Culture from being performed in the country. Blacklist includes compositions The Edge Of Glory, Hair, Marry The Night, Americano, Judas and Bloody Mary.

Among other compositions forbidden in China are Last Friday Night by Katy Perry and Backstreet Boys' I Want It That Way.

It was not revealed why China's Ministry of Culture has chosen these particular tracks.

This week Lady GaGa along with Beyonce have joined the list of artists set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.

Among other artists set to participate in MTV Video Music Awards are Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Young The Giant. More names will be announced later.
