Lady GaGa to release Judas music video this Sunday

Apr 04, 2011
Lady GaGa announced that she would premiere music video for her new single Judas this Sunday – the release will coincide with Easter holiday. According to the singer, it will be based on Biblical motives. Lady GaGa will portray Mary Magdalene, while actor Norman Reedus will accompany her as Judas.

The music video has already inspired protests by religious groups – despite it has not been released yet.

Lady GaGa recently has compared herself to John Lennon, who once said he was never satisfied with his songs. "In John Lennon's Playboy interview in 1980 he talked about how he hated certain songs because of the way they were finished. And they might be my favourite songs, but Lennon couldn't listen to them", said she.

Singer added: "I am perpetually unhappy with what I create. Even though I might tell you that my song is a pop masterpiece, when it's all said and finished there will be things I dread, and every time I listen to it I'll hear them".

Judas is the second single from Lady GaG's upcoming album Born This Way that is set to be released in May.
