Lady GaGa said Alexander McQueen has helped her to write Born This Way

Lady GaGa praised late designer Alexander McQueen as a co-author of her upcoming Born This Way album. Singer claimed that his death has given her inspiration to start the work on this record, and that his personality has much affected all the songs on it.

"I think he planned the whole thing. Right after he died, I wrote Born This Way. I think he's up in heaven with fashion strings in his hands, marionetting away, planning this whole thing", said Lady GaGa.

She added: "I knew he planned the whole damn thing. I didn't even write the songs. He did".

Alexander McQueen, famous British couturier was found dead on February 11, at his home in London. According to the police reports, 40-year old designer has committed a suicide. Katy Perry, Kanye West and Lady Gaga were among artists who paid tribute to him.

Earlier this week Lady GaGa has unveiled some information about music video for her new single Judas. According to the singer, it will be based on Biblical motives. Lady GaGa will portray Mary Magdalene, while actor Norman Reedus will accompany her as Judas.
