Lady GaGa revealed that she has been listening to German dancing music while working on her second studio effort Born This Way. Singer also praised Madonna, Prince and Whitney Houston for giving her inspiration to make the record.

"I was thinking about Madonna, she was a big inspiration and I was thinking about Prince when I was writing. There's the industrial sound of German house music too. Whitney Houston's on there too, especially on Marry The Night", claimed singer.

Earlier Lady GaGa said that she would release new record on Christmas this year. According to the singer, it will be a covers album featuring reworked versions of jazz songs.

"I thought it would be really sweet to do a Christmas album of Lady Gaga and the jazz standards. I really want to do it. I've spoken to my manager", claimed she.

Singer added that the album would definitely feature a cover on Orange Coloured Sky by King Cole.
