Lady GaGa banned from performing in Indonesia

May 05, 2012
Indonesian government has canceled upcoming Lady GaGa's gig in the country's capital Jakarta. The decision to ban singer from performing in Indonesia was made due to massive protesting movement by Muslim residents.

Salim Alatas, the head of Islamic Defender Front, said: "She's a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings and she stated she is the envoy of the devil's child and that she will spread satanic teaching. This is dangerous".

Last year six songs by Lady GaGa were included in the list of the tracks banned by China's Ministry of Culture from being performed in the country. Blacklist includes compositions The Edge Of Glory, Hair, Marry The Night, Americano, Judas and Bloody Mary.
