La Roux announced new album

English electro duo La Roux will start the work on the second album during the Christmas. Singer Elly Jackson said she could not describe the sound of the upcoming record. «We have got a fairly clear idea of what we want to do but we haven't actually started doing it yet so we don't know how it's going to sound», said she.

Jackson added that she also had no idea when the album would hit the stores: «We've only got two weeks writing time between Christmas and the summer. So unless we manage to write a record in two weeks I don't think there will be anything in terms of a second record for a while».

La Roux’s eponymous debut album hit the stores in June 2009. It spawned single In For The Kill, which has reached the second place in UK chart. The following single Bulletproof became first.
