Kylie Minogue will release new album in July

Apr 04, 2010
Australian singer Kylie Minogue has posted a special video announcement on her website, revealing details about her new studio album. The record, titled Aphrodite, is set to hit the stores on July 5. The album features songs written by Calvin Harris, Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley.

Aphrodite will be preceded by the single All The Lovers. «The song was one of the last tracks to be written for the album. As I was recording it I knew that All The Lovers had to be the first single; it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly. It gives me goosebumps, so I'm really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it», said Kylie Minogue.

Aphrodite will become Kylie Minogue’s eleventh studio album and the second record since she successfully beat breast cancer. The first one, named X, was released in 2007.
