Korn and Slipknot will record a song together

Members of Korn and Slipknot, accompanied by Sevendust's guitarist Clint Lowery, will record an instrumental song together. This track will be released as a charity single with all proceeds going to help hospitalized Deftones’ bassist Chi Cheng.

Chi Cheng was seriously injured in a car accident in California last November. As a result of the injuries sustained in the crash, Cheng fell into a coma. He is said to stay in a semi-conscious state in the near future.

New album by Deftones, named Eros, will hit the stores this year. Slipknot released their last record All Hope Is Gone in August 2008, while Korn’s Untitled appeared in 2007.
