Klaxons will release single for Suicide

Klaxons announced release of the new single. The cover on the song Sweetheart by Suicide will hit the stores on October 1 in 10-inch vinyl format. It will also be released as a download.

Klaxons’ cover will become a part of the series of singles recorded to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Suicide’s leader Alan Vega. Earlier, The Horrors, Bruce Springsteen, Primal Scream, Peaches and several other artists released their covers on Suicide’s songs.

In his statement Alan Vega claimed he was shocked by the number of artists who decided to mark his birthday. «I'm knocked out by these new versions, they just keep on coming and coming and they're like whole new worlds to me», said he.

Klaxons’ debut album Myths Of The Near Future was released in 2007.
