Jan 01, 2010
Klaxons revealed some details about the recording of their second studio album. According to the band’s frontman Jamie Reynolds, it was inspired by US writer Daniel Pinchbeck, whose works are devoted to shamanism and the use of psychedelic substances.

Reynolds added that another theme of the album is the year 2012, which, according to his words, «is set to bring people together». «We believe in the collective consciousness and the world shift, and the dissolving of boundaries and the bringing together of humanity, and everybody having the same objective and living together in harmony. That’s what we’re going for», claimed he.

According to Klaxons, their second studio effort will hit the stores at the end of 2010.Yet-untitled record will be produced by Ross Robinson, who previously worked on Korn’s albums.

Klaxons’ debut album Myths Of The Near Future was released in 2007.
