Kings Of Leon do not want to disband

Aug 08, 2011
Kings Of Leon have denied reports that they are going to split-up. Reports emerged soon after the band has canceled its entire US tour. However, drummer Nathan Followill recently claimed that it does not mean they will break up.

"Bummed about the tour not happening. So sorry for all the fans. We just need some rest. Thanks for understanding. We are not breaking up", he wrote on his Twitter account.

Kings Of Leon have canceled two gigs in a row – after abandonment of a show in Dallas on Friday, July 29, they have put off the performance in Houston, that was scheduled on July 30. On Friday, Kings Of Leon's concert was stopped after apparently drunk singer Caleb Followill told the fans he needed to "vomit and grab another beer", and left the stage.

On Monday, August 1, it was announced that all upcoming shows are canceled.

Kings Of Leon were on tour in support of their last studio effort Come Around Sundown.
