Kid Rock to start working on the new album this autumn

Jul 07, 2011
Kid Rock revealed his plans concerning nearest future. Singer claimed that he would start working on the new album in September. He hopes that famous producer Rick Rubin will join him – they already collaborated on Kid Rock's 2010's album Born Free.

"I don't think myself or my band has ever sounded or played better. I'm 40. I'm not going to be at the top of my game forever, but I am right now. I'd kind of like to go back and do something with all the experience of being a better singer, better player, better songwriter, and just make this accumulation of what I do", said he.

Kid Rock added that he still had not determined the sound of the new album. "I'm still not sure what I do, but whatever it is, I own it. If I get into a country groove, make the best country groove. And if I get into a rock vibe, make that. And if there's some place for old-school hip-hop jams with rock guitars, I'm cool with it", claimed singer.

According to Kid Rock, the album is set to hit the stores next year.
