Mar 03, 2009
English rock band Keane will play the world's first ever live 3D webcast. Scheduled on April 2, it will feature both live footage and digital graphics. Fans will need 3D glasses to watch this show.

«We believe that the tradition of rock'n'roll is to always innovate, to bring new ideas and concepts into music», said Keane in their statement, adding that they were «incredibly excited» about upcoming performance.

The band chose to play in Abbey Road Studios, where The Beatles performed for their historic satellite broadcast in June 1967.

Keane already revealed that they would perform songs from their 2008’s album Perfect Symmetry.
