Katy Perry may give up music for a year

Katy Perry is going to take a break from music for one year, reports British press. According to The New York Post, singer will give up her career after last concert of her recent world tour in support of Teenage Dream album – that is set to take place on November 23 in Los Angeles.

A source close to the singer told newspaper: "Katy Perry is taking time off to work on her family… She informed her managers that after that, she'll take a year off to spend time with husband Russell Brand and to start a family".

Katy Perry has unveiled music video for her next single The One That Got Away. It shows singer as an older women, who is reliving moments of her past, including close relationships with beloved person.

Talking about music video, Katy Perry said: "I'm so pleased to select The One That Got Away as my next single because this song shows a very different side of me that I haven't shown with my past singles".
