Katy Perry is ''incredibly happy'' with her MTV VMA success

Katy Perry claimed that she has been feeling ''incredibly happy'' after winning the main prize of MTV Video Music Awards ceremony. Singer – who has grabbed Video Of The Year honor for her clip Fireworks last night – said that she can hardly believe in it.

''It's fantastic. I am incredibly happy. I believed in success for every moment, but in fact it was, you know, like cheering myself up. In fact, I still do not believe it'', claimed Katy Perry in an interview after MTV Video Music Awards.

Lady GaGa – who has won Best Female Video award for Born This Way – brought the main surprise of the ceremony, appearing in a new male-looking image, with short hair, wearing black trousers and white shirt. Another surprise was made by Beyonce, who announced that she is pregnant.

Best Male Video award was given to Justin Bieber for his clip U Smile. Tyler, The Creator has been honored as Best New Artist for Yonkers. The full list of winners can be seen here.

The ceremony featured performances by Lady GaGa, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Adele, Lil Wayne and others.
