Katy Perry is glad to be nominated for Grammys

Katy Perry, who will compete in four categories at the upcoming Grammy awards ceremony, revealed that she considered it to be an "amazing honor". Singer added that she hoped to win all honors she can.

Katy Perry wrote on her Twitter account: "It's an amazing honor to be nominated & recognized by my other hard working peers tonight. So happy that I trusted my gut with this Teenage Dream record & thank you to all the amazing people I've been blessed to surround myself with... couldn't do it without you".

Teenage Dream, Katy Perry's latest studio effort, was nominated for two awards – Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while the eponymous single was named in Best Female Pop Vocal category. Singer's duo with Snoop Dogg titled California Gurls can win Best Pop Collaboration honor.

Eminem is set to become the main triumphant of upcoming Grammy awards ceremony as rapper was mentioned in ten categories, including all main ones. His latest studio effort Recovery was nominated for Album of the Year prize together with Katy Perry, Arcade Fire's The Suburbs, Lady Antebellum's Need You Now and Lady GaGa's The Fame.

Bruno Mars has got seven nominations, while Lady GaGa and Jay-Z will compete for six awards.

The ceremony itself, 53rd in a row, will take place in Los Angeles on February 13.
