Kate Nash is working together with Metronomy

Kate Nash announced that she was currently recording together with electronic music band Metronomy. According to her words, they have already recorded several songs that will hit the stores as an album very soon – although it will be released under some sort of pseudonym.

«It won't be under my name or Metronomy. It's going to be an underground side project», said Kate Nash. She also added that her own second album would be produced by former Suede man Bernard Butler who worked on Duffy's debut album Rockferry.

Metronomy are known for their collaborations with Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, The Young Knives and other bands. Their last record Nights Out hit the stores last year, while Kate Nash released her debut album Made Of Bricks in August 2007.
