Kasabian said "unknown spirit" has written their new album

Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno claimed that he has been probably affected by some kind of "unknown spirit" while working on the band's next album. According to his words, he had a feeling he "wasn't even there" when he has been writing new songs – although they turned out to be quit good.

"I feel like I wasn't even there, like an unknown spirit came down and took over, I'd just be milling about and I'd wake up in the morning and asked who's has done that. I really feel like a spirit wrote the album", said Pizzorno.

Earleir Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan claimed that yet-untitled record is being produced by Dan The Automator, who worked on their previous effort West Ryder Lunatic Pauper Asylum. He also described the record as "mega aggressive".

"Totally off the wall, but you know it's us", said Tom Meighan.

Serge Pizzorno added: "Listening to the songs makes you feel great. Get your fucking jacket on, whack your fucking shoes on. It makes you believe things are going to happen".

West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum hit the stores in 2009.
