Kasabian new album will be «massive»

Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorno claimed that he has begun composing songs for the band’s new album. He is working together with producer Dan The Automator, the man who collaborated with Kasabian on their previous record West Ryder Lunatic Pauper Asylum.

The source close to the band told The Sun newspaper: «Sergio is in the songwriting form of his life. The tunes are massive». At the same time, he did not tell when the band would start the recording of the new album.

Kasabian are set to perform at the upcoming charity show Black Ball that will take place in London on May 27. The event will also feature Alicia Keys – the source said that the band was going to perform a duo with famous singer.

Earlier Kasabian’s frontman Tom Meighan revealed that the band’s next studio record would be influenced by Nirvana and Pink Floyd. He added that upcoming album would be very different from Kasabian’s previous efforts.
