Kasabian compared their songs to "stampede of rhinos"

Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno claimed that the band – that is on tour now – is happy with the reception their songs from new album Velociraptor! get on the concerts.

"We've nailed 'em. We've got these big marching songs, like a stampede of rhinos coming at you. People get this glory feeling from our gigs", said Pizzorno.

He also denied reports that Kasabian are set to join The Stone Roses as a supporting act during their tour next simmer.

He claimed: "Do you think we'd honestly support The Stone Roses? No. No. That the big festival headliners have been Pulp and Blur lately shows the number of great bands that are left".

Earlier this month Serge Pizzorno claimed that Kasabian are the best act to headline any festival. "There's a real dance side to what we do and we can create this euphoric feeling amongst lots of people because there's choruses that people can sing, but there's also this electronic swell that you only really get with people like the Chemical Brothers or The Prodigy", stated guitarist.
