Kasabian are working on the new record

Kasabian revealed that the band has already started the work on the new album. According to frontman Tom Meighan, they already have got "loads of stuff written". At the same time singer claimed that they would not release anything until 2013.

"We got loads of stuff written already. It is because our guitarist Serge Pizzorno never stops writing. So I can't imagine when we're going to record a record, not at the moment, probably next year some time", said he.

Recently Tom Meighan claimed that the band feels very excited to headline upcoming Reading And Leeds festival. Singer said that they "can't wait" till the day of the show comes and promised that the audience will "come alive" once they rise onstage.

Reading And Leeds festival is set to take place on August 25-26. Apart from Kasabian, it will feature Foo Fighters, The Cure, Florence And The Machine, The Vaccines, Enter Shikari and others.
