Kanye West will record non hip-hop album

Kanye West announced that he has started the work on the new album. According to the rapper, he is going to make «a big step away» from hip-hop music. West also claimed that new album would prove everybody that he was a «true poet».

«I want to bring realism on my album. Let us look past headlines and deal with just a bit of reality in this new decade. We have our own outlets now. We don't have to believe everything anymore», said he.

«I'm so happy to be back in the studio making new music. I will bring you the best I have. It's funny how so many rappers get worse as their careers stretch out, but true poets get better», added Kanye West.

Kanye’s previous album 808's And Heartbreak hit the stores in 2008. It was a step away from hip-hop too, as West was more singing than rapping on it.
