Kanye West said late designer Alexander McQueen was «an angel»

Katy Perry, Kanye West and Lady Gaga were among artists who paid tribute to late fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Famous British couturier was found dead yesterday, on February 11, at his home in London. According to the police reports, 40-year old designer has committed a suicide.

During his career, Alexander McQueen has designed clothes for a lot of famous artists, from Bjork, David Bowie and Primal Scream to Rihanna and Lady GaGa.

Kanye West wrote in his blog: «He was a genius… he was so important and special.... We lost an angel». Katty Perry said that she feels «very said» about McQueen’s death. Estelle and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden also paid tribute to the designer.
