Kanye West promised to release new song each weekend

Kanye West announced that he would release new song each Friday until Christmas. According to the rapper's words, it will not necessarily be his own composition – it also may be a track produced by him.

However, the first song released that way was the remix on his track Power recorded together Jay-Z and unveiled last week.

"I know yall need the music so I'm dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song it may be a new Jay-Z song or something else", said Kanye West.

He added: "I'm calling it good Fridays. Ya'll know every Friday ya'll gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now. It’s about the fans".

Rapper did not mention if he is going to release tracks from his upcoming new album that way.

Earlier rapper revealed that his record would feature collaborations with such famous persons as Beyonce, Kid Cudi and others. He also confirmed reports that the album was produced by Q-Tip, Pete Rock and Wu-Tang Clan's RZA.

Kanye West's previous album 808's And Heartbreak hit the stores in 2008.
