Kanye West made Barack Obama angry

USA president Barack Obama was reportedly very angry with Kanye West’s incident during MTV Video Music Awards ceremony. Rapper climbed onstage when Taylor Swift was receiving her prize for the victory in Best Female Video category. West grabbed microphone from Taylor’s hands and claimed that the award should be given to Beyonce for her music video Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).

According to US press, Barack Obama discussed that incident during an off-the-record segment before his interview to CNBC channel. «President Obama just called Kanye West a «jackass» for his outburst at VMA», says the report by ABC news agency.

Kanye West already claimed that he was feeling sorry for what he has done. «I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment. I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down... I'm sorry to my friends at MTV... I will apologize to Taylor», said he in his official statement.

ABC, in its turn, already issued an apology for revealing off-the-record part of the interview.

The ceremony took place on September 13 in New York. It featured performance by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys (they sang the composition Empire State Of Mind from rapper’s last album The Blueprint 3), as well as by Lady GaGa, Nelly Furtado, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Muse and others.
