Kanye West alleged in plagiarism

Kanye West is being sued by a songwriter from Maryland Dayna Staggs. He claims that West used samples from Staggs’ song Volume for his own composition Good Life from Kanye’s last album Graduation.

Staggs also objects to the «vulgar and offensive» images associated with the song which he says damages the reputation of his own track. Now, he is demanding 85 per cent of all world sales of the proceeds from Good Life.
