Kaiser Chiefs devoted new single to Twitter

Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson revealed that the band has recorded new single. Titled On The Run, it is set to be released in January. According to Hodgson, the song is devoted to "rude, cruel people" on Twitter.

"I'm on the run from the world really. There are too many opinions out there, like on Twitter. It's full of rude, cruel people", said he.

Kaiser Chiefs released their last studio effort, titled The Future Is Medieval, in June this year.

Last month Kaiser Chiefs expressed the fear that the popularity of rock music will decline in the nearest future. Frontman Ricky Wilson pointed that with the move of time new bands have less opportunity to build a successful career.

"Necessity is the mother of invention and there will always be music. Whether it will be a viable career for five guys with guitars I'm not sure at the moment but you know, they'll be there in a garage somewhere", claimed he.
