Kaiser Chiefs are upset by current situation with rock music

Kaiser Chiefs' drummer Nick Hodgson claimed that rock music is currently in deep crisis. According to his words, it has been constantly losing public attention since middle 2000's. He also blamed promoters of music festivals for leaving bands without their support.

"It's a strange time to be in a band. We all know rock music is at an all-time low. You look at the line-up at V Festival and there were only four or five bands. Very few bands which started when we did have stood the test of time", claimed Nick Hodgson.

Recently Nick Hodgson revealed that the band has recorded new single. Titled On The Run, it is set to be released in January. According to Hodgson, the song is devoted to "rude, cruel people" on Twitter.

"I'm on the run from the world really. There are too many opinions out there, like on Twitter. It's full of rude, cruel people", said he.

Kaiser Chiefs released their last studio effort, titled The Future Is Medieval, in June this year.
