Justin Timberlake may play Elton John

Elton John spoke about the work on his biopic titled Rocketman. Singer claimed that the script for the movie was created by English playwright Lee Hall, who is best known for the work on 2000 film Billy Elliot.

"We're making an announcement about that very, very soon. We have a director on board, and then it's just going to be a matter of getting the script exactly the way we want it. Lee Hall has written a script – he wrote Billy Elliot", claimed he.

Elton John added that they would start casting actors soon and that he would like Justin Timberlake to play himself.

"I've got a wish list of people. No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of Rocket Man and was superb", said Elton John.
