Justin Bieber "admires" Michael Jackson

Justin Bieber has praised Michael Jackson, saying that he "admires" late King of Pop. 16-years old star also claimed that without Michael Jackson modern music "wouldn't be the same".

"You know, I said at American Music Awards: "Without Michael we wouldn't have been here". But we would be here, but music wouldn't be the same", explained he.

American Music Awards brought Justin Bieber four prizes. He was honored as Artist Of The Year and Favorite Male Pop Artist. He also was named Breakthrough Artist, and received Favorite Pop Album award for his studio effort My World 2.0.

No other artist managed to get the same number of prizes. Eminem has won in two categories – Best Rap Male Artist and Best Rap Album with Recovery. Usher was also praised twice – as Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist and as Favorite Soul/R&B Album for his effort Raymond V. Raymond.

Lady GaGa received Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist award. The list of winners also includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Muse and other artists.

New album Michael featuring earlier unreleased Michael Jackson’s songs is set to be released in the nearest future.
