Jimmy Page called Jack White a «hero»

Led Zeppelin’s guitarist Jimmy Page said Jack White was a «hero». He praised The White Stripes’ frontman when he was speaking about his role in an upcoming documentary movie It Might Get Loud, which features Jack White as well as U2’s guitarist Edge. Page claimed that he was happy to work with both of them.

«I think Jack White is definitely a hero to a young generation of guitarists and an old generation of guitarists. There’s no doubt about that as someone who has roots. Not only that, Jack, every time that he has a new project, it’s always worth checking out because he won’t disappoint you», said Page.

The documentary tells the story about their evolution as guitarists' and show how each person can become skilled musician at a very young age. For instance, it will include the scene in which Jack White teaching a 9-year-old version of himself to play guitar.

Some scenes in the movie show White, Page and The Edge performing different songs and talking about the music. The documentary also features some rare material such as Page's first appearance on TV or U2’s first ever gig.
