Jimmy Page and Slash donated for charity auction

Mar 03, 2009
Guitars signed by famous rock-musicians will be sold at a special eBay auction that has begun yesterday. Fans can bid until March 15. All money raised from this auction will be donated to Task Brazil charity fund that helps abandoned children in this South American country.

The list of stars, who signed guitars for this auction, includes Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and ex-Guns N’ Roses’ guitarist Slash, as well as members of Iron Maiden, The Eagles, The Turtles, Badfinger and other bands.

It is not the first time Jimmy Page donates for Task Brazil. Led Zeppelin guitarist already helped fund to raise money several times. In 2005, Page was awarded the Order of the British Empire in recognition of his charity work in Brazil.
