Jay-Z was asked to keep distance from Obama

Jay-Z and other Barack Obama’s famous supporters, including Mary J. Blige, P. Diddy, actors Tim Robbins and Ben Affleck, were asked not to visit the president elect's victory party.

They were asked to keep distance from Obama because of fear of pulling focus away from the new president.

However, according to newspaper The Chicago Sun Times, Jay-Z and others will be able to attend presidential inauguration in January.
