Jay-Z to make a videogame based on his life

Apr 04, 2012
Jay-Z is going to launch a Facebook game based on his own life. Titled Empire, it will allow players to follow rapper's path from slums of New York to becoming world-famous celebrity and millionaire. Among activities in which they can be engaged is making a mixtape, recording song, taking part in a rap battle, getting a job and your visiting mum.

An official promo for the game says: "Empire takes you on a journey from the streets of Marcy Housing in Brooklyn to the hotspots of the rich and famous: from hustler, to entrepreneur, to business mogul. But don't forget friends and family, or your karma will suffer".

Recently Jay-Z claimed that he and Kanye West may record another joint album in 2012, the follow-up to last year's Watch The Throne. According to the rapper, they will work together for sure – he just can not tell if it is supposed to be this year or later.

"We – I say "we" because I'm in Watch The Throne mode – we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay-Z, then Kanye and a Watch The Throne album this year… We really found our zone", claimed he.
